And then they turned on each other. Okorie Okorocha, the lawyer that at one time represented both John Doe #1 and #2 in the John Travolta alleged sex case scandal, is suing their new lawyer, Gloria Allred, for stealing his clients.
Okorocha claimed to have dropped John Doe #1 after the date of his alleged assault by Travolta was called into question. Allred quickly snatched him up. Shortly thereafter, Doe #2 told Okorocha he would no longer be needing his services. Allred then released a statement claiming him as hers as well.
In a show or professionalism—that might have just proved that the "John Does'" made the right decision regarding legal representation—Okorocha reportedly sent #2 a series of text messages, "I can't believe f**king Allred called you.” Then added, “She ain't been in a courtroom in 20 years. Just doing stupid ass press conference side shows."
Wait, who’s side-show is this at this point? It’s a lot to keep up with, we realize… and we haven’t even got to the part where young men are surfacing far and wide, claiming to have been propositioned and/or man-handled by the main attraction, Travolta himself.
Okorocha will be representing himself in the case.
In a statement to Hollyscoop, Gloria Allred says, "Mr. Okorocha's lawsuit will be met with a counterclaim for defamation. The facts are the facts. Doe #1 and Doe #2 contacted me seeking representation, and we have the evidence to prove it. Mr. Okorocha's lawsuit will be dismissed, and we will ultimately recover a judgment against him."
